THE SONG PLAYS

The song plays over and over It rolls its drums It plucks its strings It breathes a symphony What of Love What of Peace What of our Laughter We've been Forgiven, haven't we The drum thumps out its note The cello strums its ocean The conductor bends now in the wind Let me usher in my muse Let me find the water and the food Enough to feed them all, nourish them Feed them, clothe them, a symphony rising This song plays over and over Again and again It rolls its drums It plucks its strings It breathes a symphony Me and you. You and Me © 2015 Mark Richard Prime, I am.

SONG AND DANCE

It will not last, this trap set for Me. It is in the dance and sometimes I wish I wouldn't bother with the talk of espionage, but it certainly livens up the symphony of words, I'll give it that. © 2015 Mark Richard Prime, I am.

SCRIBE SONG

Whatever you've done, all's forgiven, but the song plays still, we need but heed its verse, its Love and Peace, it's scribe, it's surface... © 2015 Peace, Love, Laughter, Forgiveness, MrP, Scribe, Mark Richard Prime

I WISH I WAS

I wish I was the moon tonight... I wish I was a child again, my innocence would swim in me instead of this man. (I've seen worse men, Mark.) Perhaps, but I am tired of not knowing, I should have known I was here, that I was at Home with the moon... I wish I was the moon, not the man in the moon. I'm not finished yet, I will rise again as the moon, I wish I was the moon, I wish I was the light. I will rise with the moon and howl a song of Peace, of Me, of We. Me and thee... © 2014 Mark Richard Prime

THE BUCKET FINDS A HOME

Rest your igniting treachery within this world. Give respite to the heart beating upon the street. Gaze upon the earth’s laurels for a time, Reflect upon the beautiful light of the harvest moon, Recall the wonder of lights swimming over the ice, Reach for the song of nature’s awakening. I will meet you there my friends upon the vast waters. I will meet you upon the glorious mountains. I will meet you upon the mighty shore. I will meet you there, at peace in the valley of man. We'll exchange the most magnificent of songs, And with one another trade glimmering humanity. Come! Let us not look upon hunger thanking God we're not, For we are my friends, our living needn't be empty. Give to them not a beggar’s insult But instead thrum on the bucket and feed of them. Nourish them as you would your offspring. Sing them a song as you would a dear friend. Look into the hunger and exchange goodness. Quench their need and you'll extinguish your own, Give them...

In All Things

God is in all things! In a rose In a river In the sky in the soil In all! There is a song coming that We will hear! Come rain! Come thunder and lightening, Let us dance! © 2014 Mark Richard Prime

What Carves

Believe in what carves away the fear and leaves the Love within our dance and our song. Sing it. Love it. Laugh with it. Be at Peace within it. It has grips built in for us to retain our strength and journey with it's will as much as ours, as one. One. One. Not one day, but all and every day, rejoice in our fortune. The (H)eartH is laughing, joyous in our consideration of Life... Love and Peace © 2013 the spirit of Love dancing through Mark Richard Prime

The Watch

This day shuts its eyes to time. It beckons the watch to cease its pounding, to give up its makeshift Hell in lieu of the truth of its Heaven. Ticktock vanishing into the thinnest of air, diving beneath the surface of oily oceans, plastic seas, broken mountains, loveless wars and blinding despair. (Could these be made into song?) They are song. Look, read, listen, carefully, remembering where you are... © 2013 the spirit of Love dancing through Mark Richard Prime

Rock, Paper, Scissors - Strength, Peace, Forgiveness

Dear Love I need make amends for my crimes Rock! I know you saw me differently, but I failed miserably this time Give me another chance, I pray I’ll soar with Love and give this belief away I’ve been dancing nearby so tired, my friend I’ve come to bow at the foot of truth in this neverend I often didn’t recognize your needs before my own so I know my days are numbered and that I’m not alone I wonder what it will be in this, our newly imagined space and, in this belief, out of the many, will comfort ever find the human race? Paper! It’s suitable so far and the truth, as near as I can trace Give it a roll you’ll be glad you did I know not as retribution, but as the truth echoing Home Echoing there and back across this Heavenly globe of belief woven in fact I don’t know, I simply believe I’m remembering my place this glimpse at fate! I’m just a rat in this race skeletons of the past that none of us have faced Scissors! The (H)eartH has its reasons stamp...

Kind Spirit

Kind spirit, I hope this finds you well. In response to your heartfelt song, my friend, I can only say that I will let it flow from more than just a cross inside of my belief, I will urge it to flow within my every breath, this selfless love for all and everything, known and unknown and without an nth of fear, if full Love is indeed my target... Love, peace and goodness to you, yours and the (H)eartH... © 2012 the spirit of Love dancing through Mark Richard Prime

Creation’s Sound

Creation’s sound. The loveliest of birds greeted me this morning! They sang their morning warble as if to say all is going along as it should be, as it was meant to be. Their lovely song mesmerized me in dance with the eartH’s spirit swirling in me like October’s oft wintry breeze telling me that death is nothing more and nothing less than life gone beneath itself to the beginning, to Love… How could it be another way, my friends? How is it possible to have missed such a beautiful truth just beneath the feet? The HeartH of Creation’s song plays most crisp in the morning, it opens its eyes to itself as if it were all new again, as if the noise of life-fouled traffic were a waking dream and the truth was eartH’s sounds arising to greet itself and its sun… Love, you’ve been waiting for the day our noise won’t place itself upon the throne and bequeath this land as if to we and not, instead, for thee! O! Please forgive me my indifference! I am so sorry. Leave the motor running, the...

The Weaver’s Song

I believe I’m weaving you And you and you and you and you and a wealth Of threads weaving a belief in Love And duty and kindness and peace and health And joy and laughter, but there I go, repeating my self. (You are.) Yes. I am, but what is wrong with that? (You’re not only repeating yourself, you’re losing the thread of full Love and beginning to weave your own conception of events into a hybrid of truth and your belief, numbskull!) That is, in this belief, my duty, kind spirit. And I believe that it will benefit we humankind to recognize where, who and what we are long before our fearful beliefs collide with our ill-fated heads. (Instinct?) Yes. To me, belief resides just below the heart of nature. It’s natural. Truth and Belief as dance partners that cannot dance without the other, much like Love, Life and Laughter. (Echo...) Reaching up with all of my strength I begin to see things for what they are and not as what they’ve become. I believe that we ar...

The Storm

When the storm comes, let us not run away screaming, let us enter its path and sing an ode, dance a jig to its reverie and remember that we are all part of the storm. I believe it cannot be any other way, for if we imagine ourselves as somehow separate from it, we’re as blind as we are destructive to the truth … © 2012 the spirit of Love dancing through Mark Richard Prime

They Stood in Line

It was like a slap in the face, this noise that wafted over the sound… They stood in line to let me dance with their fears- O! Slap! O! Slap! O! What a snarled tapestry of belief that’s crafted from shadows darting in and out of Love as if they were needles filled with rage! When are we to gather as a species and begin our song? We must begin to sing the echo of her plea through the movement and motion of who we are all born to be, stewards... O! The cry of the spirit of Love is piercing even the dogs as we speak, their high and constant howl ringing over the traffic… (Echo…) © 2012 the spirit of Love dancing through Mark Richard Prime

A Good Balance is Required

I’ve been preparing for this for longer than even I imagined. I thought the head injury was physical? But it was as spiritual as it was injurious. It began as a child, came to an abrupt reversal as a young man, and now has seemingly arrived full circle to my deeds, one to go. I’ve need to speak. I’ve desire to speak. I’ve much to speak. I’ve need to be silent. Which is it, rimnod? Speak or silent? Both. That’s impossible! Not if you’re speaking to Love and God, a good balance is required in order to be able to withstand the impact. Speak when prayer and laughter arise, be silent the rest of the time. End the brunt of noise and listen to her song. Sing the ode in her honor, bow to her love, life and laughter… (Silence…) Love. (Silence…) Life. (Silence…) Laughter. The wind spills its breath as if it has been waiting to speak for ages now, that we might hear the truth beneath our squall… (Silence…) Silence is required… The bug chimes in with his disgruntled pe...

8.20.12 Come Dance With Me

Is there rest from this eternity? Might we summon sleep for awhile to just be with Love and God as they hold us near them in blissful sleep…? (I’ll take some of that sleep.) Really, Curmudgeon? (Yes. Between you yammering all day and night and the rest of us closing off our ears to her plea is it any wonder you sound like a raving lunatic!) Yes, but the option’s are limited… Come dance with me, I’ll dance with you in turn and you and I and you and you and you and you and you and you and you and you and me and you and you and you and you and you and you and you and you and you ad you and Love… The quake begins just below my feet- boom boom boom and a rat-a-tat-tat boom boom! The traffic swirls in the machine, Love’s just trying to get out! This is Heaven… (O! Good God! Of course it is! …You’d have to be blind, deaf and woefully prideful to not have always known that.) There aren’t that many things my friends that we truly need to know- air, water, soil, sustenance, sh...

-5.27.12 BREATHE ONCE MORE BEFORE YOU BEGIN YOUR SHRIEK-

Breathe once more before I begin to shriek. Breathe once more before time jumps the tracks and I’m left without a breath in me, without a shred, lost in my own web, unaided, save for the spirits that swim internally. The eyes of creation, you, the ears of creation, you. And so on, and begin to correct the grave injuries to our mother, earth. Her eyes swim oceans to me, her arms, love to all. All and everything, this is heaven. Please consider it the only heaven, up to this point that you’ve known and look what you’re doing to the earth, God. If it is not “God, why do I care, I’m out of here, and off to heaven with-” Out! This stage shakes beneath my feet and you pretend to pretend to understand the weight of what you shout? Bring me from beneath my questions! I want to soar with you! Let me remember this moment, Love, that my expanding mind may give way… Life’s indeed a stage, but how can we all be actors in the very same play and not imagine that we all might ...
