I support Israel's right to defend itself, as I do all nations and peoples, Benjamin. Problem is, there is no defense for your Government's genocide against the Palestinian Peoples, there is no defense for theft, no excuse for attacks on ships in international waters, no excuse for the blockade on Gaza, no excuse for holding away food and water and supplies for the Palestinians, no excuse for firing on and killing peaceful protesters, men, women, and children. Hamas, compared to the Israeli military, are, without question, little more than fodder for the Israeli governments continued oppression of the Palestinian peoples. I am for Peace on both sides. Palestinians deported to Gaza Two Palestinians have been deported to the Gaza Strip from Israel, raising fears that more expulsions could follow under a controversial new Israeli military order. Odd is it that I should think of clothing while looking at such horrific pictures. What ragged soul bore the tattered shirt I wear? Why do they stay there, between war and peace? Sky’s tapestry doles out guns, bombs and rocks while flesh and bone swim away from the ache yet live on as the food for the murder of peace. Why do we hide from the truth as if it were an ogre while death makes a home inside their living and war dispatches a raven to their door, smirking with the teeth of empire? Why do we wait, stooped for another wink? The sky’s drapery has tossed down ample clues, peace is breathing in harmony with war. (Road-maps are useless to blind leaders.)
