Begun


We can't continue to be rigid in our walk
Can't continue to fail Peace
Can't continue to worship the unknown
And fail to cherish Home

We can begin to be giving along our way
Offer affections for strangers
Release the fear we have of one another
Recognize our sister and brother

We can begin, we can begin again
Tote our love from within
And bring Peace out into the open
We've begun, let it never-end

I have been witness to the four pillars and see no reason to carry death there. Doesn’t the world know that life moves for more than just the sons of Abraham? O! I see the stunned throats floating by in the dusk to their stiff-limbed sleep as metal rains down over the Jordan’s western prophet, children dying there.
