DOUBLE EDGED


It's a double-edged sword all right, is the belief in Heaven and Hell. Believe in both, get both.

No, thank you.

How about WE believe in Home and one another and work our way up from there? As it stands now, we believe in a greater power than ourselves, yet stop short of believing in Home and one another. It is a flaw in the reasoning of duality if one is all powerful and the others are mere slave.

Rise up! Walk outside of your church, or synagogue, or temple, or what have you, and speak the things you imagine are real while standing upon the original altar, and they will ring hollow while gravity holds them down like it holds us to Home. Look beneath your feet, my friends, Heavenly Home awaits our recognition, not our swords...

Love, in and of itself, is never a problem, WANT and NEED, or better yet- the WANT and the conundrum of its very REQUIREMENT for our survival IS the problem, it's creation and our blind use of it is logically the ROOT. In other words, let's leave LOVE out of it altogether and deal with the facts instead. I have been witness to the four pillars and see no reason to carry death there. Doesn’t the world know that life moves for more than just the sons of Abraham? O! I see the stunned throats floating by in the dusk to their stiff-limbed sleep as metal rains down over the Jordan’s western prophet, children dying there. Access to...

It's odd to me that the future is accessible to God, but we're stuck with remembering the past, it's untenable. History repeats itself from our obsession with it. I say leave history where it is and instead create something of a present worth repeating.  © 2015 Mark Richard Prime
