Again we remain, unmoving automatons,
as if our spirit shells are self-destructing
no less than as if we are failing the mother,
our own. We wait around as if it will come without
...our will.
I think it is coming at the same time as my scribing,
my plea to the loved, the living and dying,
so why do we not act as if the whole is crying
our will...
The masks cover our inherent shame in how we worshipped,
end the grip of our talking boxes and raise our hands to help,
Do not consider it work, consider it creation in our grasp,
mold it toward the fullness of what our kinship and Love might be,
a profound possibility of where we are as a collective moon
sustaining me...
Don't breathe in the one thing within the truth that holds down Peace.
Do not consider the path most consumed, take the one that Loves,
that Forgives our use of her, our Laughter upon her bosom.
Live, Love and Laugh with me my fine-feathered spirits,
this is for you my kindred spirit, my wife, my brother,
my mother, my in-laws, my daughters, my nephews,
nieces, aunts and uncles...
We’re working ourselves into oblivion, for what?
To die from not having water to drink,
air to breathe from being too damned greedy to think?
Come on people, let’s think of the earth and one another
before the water gets too thick to drink,
before the air gets too toxic to breathe.
Love one another despite our harmless behaviors,
consider our most lethal and suicidal measures,
the ones that are destroying Life’s pleasures,
those that shatter houses and crush human Love,
that destroys our Home and kills the seeds,
that enslave us instead of making us free.
Stand up and let your voices be heard across the globe,
stand up and demand the earth its sovereignty
all across the globe from sea to shining sea.
We’re free to do what we need to in order to breathe.
Stop the scorn and pretending we’re any better,
cherish Home and begin to Love one another.
Boom boom…
