To All of Those that Believe


To all of those that believe in something...

I beg of you to not imagine your belief only at its most pleasing never-end, imagine it at its most unpleasant never-end, too.

Imagine its horror, if it has one, imagine its most wretched fate placed upon your fellow brothers and sisters.

Now, if you wouldn’t wish that fate upon even your worst enemy, change it.
Change it, not within them, but within you…

I have been witness to the four pillars and see no reason to carry death there. Doesn’t the world know that life moves for more than just the sons of Abraham? O! I see the stunned throats floating by in the dusk to their stiff-limbed sleep as metal rains down over the Jordan’s western prophet, children dying there.
