We need demand that our government get out of their lands, all of them. Enough! We need remember that America also foments the strife in the region under the guise of "American interests". (It's not much of a disguise when one truly considers the words "American interests".) Enough! Why are US interests more special than the good people of the middle east? Enough! Why do we have interests in the middle east at all, save for perhaps the implementation of programs and aid that lift them up as a peoples, not interests that continue to divide and conquer with our superior power? Enough! We only imagine that they've been warring without our influence. We need to open our eyes to the truth that is our own government's collusion, we the people would benefit greatly if we could but end our over consumption of the world's resources for our own "interests" here at home. Some would have me believe that praying for the troops isn't about serving in wars, just or not, so I am praying for both sides, not for victory, but for the recognition of one another as human beings, as brothers and sisters. I will never denigrate the "warrior" or the "peacemaker", my friends, ever. I pray for the day that "the war machine" (and the warriors who serve it) is no longer the strength of any nation, but that the strength of the world is seen in its Peace (and the peacemakers that serve it)... I pray for those who serve and those who do not... When men and women (militarily or not) serve a flag they are ultimately serving the machine that cares not for them as human beings but as a means to a profitable "end". The good men and women in the military serve those that implement war not Peace. War should be seen as repugnant by all, especially to those that serve. Bless all on both sides of any war, but remember, war should never be seen as our friend, it is human rage turned in on itself. The US needs to stop policing the world. The UN is not much help when you have its power left in the hands of the "veto" nations, the US being the big dog, of course. The UN needs be replaced with the collective of the peoples on the (H)eartH, period. Those in the military need rise up with the people's of the world, wave a flag of the world, nothing more and nothing less. They are mostly pawns in the military industrial complex's bottom line money-game. It is most (financially) profitable these days to lob a bomb or two or hundreds upon those without the power to stop them. We do have the power. We do. We. "lobbing in a few missiles"... The ease of which we lob things about as if there is no other choice. Most sad. ~ Peace is not an agreement, Peace is. I know that doesn't do much as far as a "plan" is concerned, but when one talks of airstrikes, an abhorrent word to be sure, then Peace is already hobbled by the implementations of war. ~ When we speak of countries that "hate us", we pigeonhole the whole of the peoples within the borders of a nation that is being controlled by the machination of a warring machine, not unlike we have here in the good ol' US of A... ~ Praying to the heavens (which I believe is beneath our feet) is part of the problem. Prayer is an action word, we have the power within ourselves to end all war, but it seems an easy way to avoid seeing our own collusion by then "leaving it up to God". That strategy might be a mistake, perhaps imagining that that is the way "we" want it to be handled is an error

For the sake of Love, I truly wish that so many would stop thinking of Miley Cyrus. Stop being so damned judgmental of others, especially toward those whose behaviour we create through our expectations. Let's do something that truly matters to humanity, something that doesn't feed our sick need to feel superior. (Derisive laughter is not the best medicine. As a matter of fact, it’s not medicinal in the least, it’s a sickness.) There are so many more things that we should be talking about, like cleansing the water sources, the soil, and the air. Important issues, like cleansing humanity of their self-inflicted agony, like bringing our love and forgiveness to the forefront of our thoughts, like ushering in Peace and Laughter as a collective family of one, a laughter that is natural and healthy. Let's take this time to demand that the US government NOT bomb anyone ever again! Demand that all corporations begin to take responsibility for their destructive practices!
